ACS was contracted by Basecamp Resorts to complete an interior renovation of the lobby and communal washrooms at MTN House By Basecamp, creating a welcoming and modern space that embodies the “Modern Mountain House” aesthetic. The renovation transformed the large, open-concept area with high ceilings into a warm and inviting environment using natural materials and a soft, earthy colour palette.
Key design features included extensive custom millwork on the upper walls, framing a striking chandelier above the reception area, and a stunning two-sided stone fireplace surrounded by stacked firewood. The open concept allows for seamless sightlines into the adjacent Rhythm & Howl Restaurant, further enhancing the space’s cohesive flow and atmosphere.
ACS provided comprehensive pre-construction and construction management services, overseeing all on-site trades and ensuring quality execution through on-site supervision. With careful attention to detail and coordination, ACS delivered a space that reflects the essence of mountain living while offering modern elegance and functionality.
