Community impact
We believe in making a positive impact in our communities
Making a positive impact in the local Bow Valley communities we live, work, and play is important to us! One of the reasons we love what we do is our ability to make an impact in our community. It’s rewarding to work with business leaders to help them take their commercial construction projects from vision to reality.
It’s empowering to help entrepreneurs and business owners build their dreams. And it’s inspiring to see the economic impact our client’s businesses have on our local and regional economies, as well as the jobs they provide to local families. It’s always exciting to watch our clients’ businesses grow, with new locations and repeat projects.
Community give-back volunteering in the Bow Valley
The ACS team enjoys taking an active role in supporting local non-profits and organizations. Every year, our team dedicates time to supporting our community by volunteering and donating. Giving back to our amazing communities of Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, and Kananaskis helps us live by our values of happiness, relationships, honesty, accountability, and passion.
Founder, President & CEO, Steve Ashton was chair of the Canmore Community Housing Corporation (CCHC) board for five years. He’s also actively involved in supporting the community of Canmore through volunteering, giving back, and being involved.
Steve also volunteers as a mentor for the Bow Valley SMARTStart Program. Hosted by the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Town of Canmore’s Economic Development Department, this 8-month business training and mentorship program is designed for new entrepreneurs and small business owners with an idea to transform into action.
