This project fills one of the last remaining lots in Canmore’s industrial area with a much needed mixed-use development. Featuring twelve industrial bays on the main floor matched with twelve residential units on the second floor. Building residential units above industrial bays on Bow Meadows Crescent has become an innovative solution to help with the ever tightening housing market in Canmore.
ACS and Montane Architecture actively worked with town administration to get this development approved. Budget certainty is very important to the client on this project, since that directly informs the price of the units. This is being achieved with extensive value-engineering and coordination of local trades. The ACS team are responsible for construction management services, pre-construction services, trade coordination, permitting, and collaboration with Montane Architecture.
