Charleston Residence, Lake Louise Ski Resort
Location: Lake Louise, Alberta
Project Type: Multi-family Project
Project Status: Under Construction (2025)
Value: $9 million
Size: 29,000 sq ft
Project Partners: Modus, KN Architecture, MWS (Structural engineering), and DBK (Electrical and Mechanical)
The ACS team was hired to manage the construction of this large multi-family construction build. Utilizing our extensive experience working within Parks Canada permitting restraints and requirements, ACS was the first choice for Lake Louise Ski Resort.
This project involves the construction of the first building and first phase of the Charleston Residence site redevelopment. It will be a mixed-construction building with both conventional constructions completed on-site as well as modular construction units.
The PH1 building that will be beginning construction this summer is approximately 29,000 sq ft and will have 19 staff housing units, containing a combination of 4, 5, and 6 bedroom configurations as well as common areas and administration areas.
This project included extensive pre-construction from the ACS team, which included permitting, value engineering and setting the project up to get the boots on the ground by July 2024.
Lake Louise Ski Resort is replacing the original employee housing building that once stood here, to provide much needed accommodation to their employees.
