The ACS team completed an indoor renovation for Downtown Sally. We transformed an existing café in downtown Banff into a brighter, more inviting environment.
The project featured standout custom millwork by 51 North, hardwood flooring and tile by RGO, and countertops by Dauter Stone. Designed collaboratively by Nest Design and MK Design Group, the renovation seamlessly tied together detailed finishes, including flowing counters, tiles, and thoughtfully integrated lighting.
The café’s updated aesthetic incorporates an inviting color palette, wooden and stone elements, geometric-patterned vinyl and wallpaper, and large windows that maximize natural light, creating a modern yet welcoming atmosphere.
ACS was engaged early in the design phase, providing pre-construction services, permitting support in alignment with Town of Banff by-laws, and close coordination with the café’s owners to ensure minimal disruption to neighbouring businesses. As Construction Manager, the ACS team oversaw trade and material coordination, executed on-site management, and self-performed finishing details to deliver a polished and cohesive result.
