Ashton Construction Services was hired to manage the overall project and provide comprehensive construction management services for this two-phase restaurant renovation project for The Wood Restaurant & Lounge in downtown Canmore, Alberta. The project was carefully divided into two phases to ensure the restaurant could continue operating throughout construction.
Phase I: Focused on interior renovations to the minor kitchen, restaurant, and washrooms. Key upgrades included the installation of a wireless fire alarm system, HVAC upgrades, new lighting, re-flooring, and the addition of custom booth seating. The ACS team coordinated closely with Russell & Russell Design Studios for design implementation, while also managing permitting, trade coordination, demolition, and pre-construction planning.
Phase II: Addressed renovations to the bar and lounge areas, incorporating updated millwork, fresh paint, new booth seating, and interior finishes to create a modern and inviting atmosphere.
Through meticulous planning and execution, the ACS team ensured the project was completed efficiently, maintaining quality and client satisfaction throughout both phases.
